The task: to turn an empty warehouse into a functioning production facility

When construction began, the new facility was just a shell. The doors and windows had been installed, but nothing else. There were no cable runs, no lighting, no power supply at the future machine locations, and no warehousing equipment.

A & P handled the entire outfitting of this facility, bringing it to a state of operational readiness. This included the complete electrical installation, the relocation of machinery from the old plant, the installation of the machinery—including alignment and connection—as well as the assembly of the shelving systems.

The key aspect of this project is not a single service, but rather the combination of services. Electrical work, mechanical work, relocation, and installation were all provided by a single source and managed by a single point of contact.

What started as a shell of a building with doors and windows was transformed into a fully equipped manufacturing facility with electrical systems installed, machinery set up and connected, and storage systems in place.

Why a "one-stop solution" makes all the difference when setting up machinery

When moving into a new facility, the various trades depend on one another. The cable routes must be in place before any wiring can be installed. The lighting should be installed above the ceiling as long as there is nothing underneath it yet. The machine can’t be connected until it’s aligned, and it can’t be aligned until the power is in the right place.

If these steps are spread across multiple companies, delays occur precisely at these handoff points. Someone isn’t there, something isn’t ready yet, and no one is responsible for filling the gap. At A & P, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are handled by a single team, and there is a dedicated point of contact from the planning stage through to post-sales service.
